Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Never does a Muslim plant a tree, but that they earn the reward of charity because of what is eaten from it. Likewise, what is stolen from it, what the wild beasts eat out of it, what the birds eat out of it, and what people take from it- all is a charity for them.”

Sponsor an Olive tree in Gaza for just £5 or 15 Walnut Trees for £30 in Pakistan

The olive tree is a universal symbol of peace and is also a powerful symbol of Palestinian rootedness in their land. But in the political turmoil of the Middle East today, trees that have survived hundreds of years have become casualties in the struggle for the control of the land.

Olives have been a major source of income to the Palestinians for centuries, with olive trees covering over 50% of agricultural land. The olive oil industry also supports the livelihoods of around 100,000 Palestinian families.

In the last 46 years, Palestinian farmers have lost 800,000 olive trees. Trees planted by their fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers have been destroyed or uprooted as a result of occupation, and settlers seeking to claim the land as their own.
We aim to replant as many olive trees as possible. You can support this project by sponsoring a tree through ISRA UK for just £5.

Moreover, we are planting Walnut trees in the district Neelum, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan with the hope for the trees to bear fruits in 4-5 years after plantation.
