Building Hope – Safe Homes and Stability for Families

Imagine being rejected by your community, not because of anything you did, but because of the child you love.

This is the devastating reality for Fatima, a widow in rural Uganda. She was cruelly cast out because her son, Rajab, is disabled. With no roof to call her own, she works in return for food, struggling daily to care for her three boys.

Aisha, another grandmother, faces a similar battle. She is raising her disabled grandson in unsafe conditions, without the security every child deserves.

Through our Building Hope Campaign, we are determined to change this. Together, we can provide:

  • Safe and secure homes

  • Dignity and protection for vulnerable families

  • A brighter, more hopeful future

Every brick, every contribution, builds more than a house – it builds HOPE.
Donate now. Together, let’s rebuild lives.

Fatima’s Fight: A Home, Income, and Education

Fatima lives in a very poor, rural area of Uganda. After the death of her husband, her community rejected her simply because her son, Rajab, is disabled and needs a wheelchair.

  • No Shelter: She and her children have no safe home, living in a temporary, makeshift space exposed to the elements.
  • No Income: Fatima has no money, forced to work the fields just for food in return. Her two able-bodied sons must work beside her, sacrificing their future to keep the family fed.
  • Unwavering Love: Before getting a wheelchair, Fatima would physically carry Rajab on her back while she worked, demonstrating a mother’s fierce commitment against unimaginable odds.

Our Solution for Fatima: We will purchase a plot of land and build a secure, solid house, and provide a manual sewing machine to establish a sustainable income. This allows her sons to finally go to school.

Aisha’s Plight: A Shelter from the Storm

Our goal also ensures the safety of Aisha, a loving and selfless grandmother. She took on the care of her disabled grandson after he was cruelly abandoned by his parents when he needed help the most. Aisha’s love and commitment are absolute, but her resources are not.

They are currently living in a structure that is beyond repair. Their home is in critical condition, marked by dangerous holes in the roof and walls that are actively collapsing. This isn’t just an inconvenience; it is a constant safety threat and a perpetual source of distress. When the rains come, there is no sanctuary.

We urgently need your help to completely rebuild their house from the foundation up, guaranteeing Aisha and her grandson the safe, dry, and dignified place to live that every family deserves. Your donation means they can finally feel secure.
