Yemen is under attack
British and US military forces have launched an attack on Houthi targets in Yemen.
Yemeni press agency, SABA, reported attacks took place in the capital, Sana’a, and the governorates of Sa’dah, Hodeidah, Taiz, and Dhamar.
ISRA-UK will continue its humanitarian work in the country as we pray for the safety of civilians in the region.
Yemen has already suffered from an aerial bombing campaign since 2015, by a coalition of nine countries led by Saudi Arabia.
This has led to untold destruction and casualties, and devastated infrastructure.
More than 20,000 people, about half of them children, according to the UN, have been killed since hostilities began.
ISRA-UK remains on the ground in Yemen and will continue to provide orphan support, malnutrition and feeding programmes, water provision, health care and emergency aid. Your assistance is vital.
