What is the SleepOut?

The ISRA-UK SleepOut for Gaza is a powerful opportunity to support the victims of the ongoing crisis in Gaza, Palestine. By volunteering to spend a night outdoors, you’re not just challenging yourself, but you’re also raising vital funds for children in Gaza who desperately need our help during these challenging winter months.

How it works?

Upon arrival, we’ll provide you with a large cardboard box and a plastic bag for your emergency shelter. Feel free to bring a tent or extra cardboard for added comfort. Dress warmly, bring a waterproof sleeping bag, and get creative with fairy lights and arts and crafts for a chance to win the ‘best dressed’ shelter award!

How to fundraise?

Share your commitment with family and friends, explaining why you’re spending a night outside so that a child in Gaza won’t have to. Every penny raised through sponsorship will directly contribute to our Gaza appeal, providing essential shelter, winter wear, blankets, and more.
Donations can come from family, friends, work colleagues and even yourself!
You will find a sponsorship form on your event pack, which you can print out and fill out as you collect donations. Alternatively, you can set up your own fundraising page on ISRA-UK’s JustGiving platform here, or at MuslimGiving here.
