Uganda Emergency Appeal

Mubende and Kassanda in Uganda have been devastated by the Ebola virus, leading to a growing crisis of food poverty. Families are struggling to secure enough food for their households in the aftermath of the outbreak.

The disease has had a severe economic impact on both districts, disrupting agricultural activities and food production processes. Consequently, vulnerable citizens face the double burden of skyrocketing food prices and a lack of employment opportunities. This dire situation leaves them without access to safe and nutritious meals, which are crucial for their overall well-being and development.

To address this pressing issue, ISRA-UK has launched a food distribution program in Mubende and Kassanda, Uganda. Our initiative aims to alleviate the suffering caused by food poverty and provide much-needed relief to affected communities.
