TURKEY Emergency appeal

Half a year has passed since twin earthquakes ravaged southern Turkey and northern Syria, leaving devastation in their wake. Amidst the rubble, resilient residents are determinedly rebuilding. A recent 5.3 magnitude earthquake shook Turkey’s Malatya province, injuring over 23 and causing further structural damage.

Remarkably, a baby girl was born amidst the wreckage of her family’s home, destroyed by the tragic earthquake. Her story radiates hope as she thrives despite her challenging start.

Though the initial shock has diminished, recovery remains ongoing. Communities are adapting amid debris, highlighting infrastructure vulnerability. Resilience prevails as survivors support one another, undeterred by immense challenges.

Support remains critical as affected regions continue to recover. ISRA-UK and others provide vital resources like shelters, clothing, meals, and supplies, transforming lives.

Your support matters more than ever in this healing journey. Join us in making a difference as we rebuild lives and restore hope after these earthquakes.
