Humanitarian Situation in Pakistan
After unprecedented floods devastated Pakistan, over 10 million people in affected areas still lack safe drinking water even six months later. One-third of the country remains submerged, impacting 33 million people and resulting in over 1,300 deaths.
Balochistan saw 230 casualties, with 1.5 million homes damaged, 300 kilometers of roads destroyed, and 130 bridges washed away. Vulnerable communities are hit hardest, losing 700,000 livestock.
ISRA-UK is actively responding on the ground, providing vital aid including emergency food, clean water, and mosquito nets. Reconstruction efforts include building homes, mosques, and distributing wheelchairs.
