Undernourishment profoundly affects a child’s education. Insufficient nutrition hampers their physical and cognitive development, hindering concentration, comprehension, and academic performance. These children struggle to keep up, leading to frustration, loss of motivation, and dropping out.

The Situation
Uganda’s government released a report in many years ago that said, “When the child is undernourished, that child’s brain is less likely to develop at healthy rates, and that child is more likely to have cognitive delays.” Children in poverty have even less chance of getting out of poverty if they cannot get an education.
What We’re Doing
We have partnered up with a school in Uganda. We provide scholarships to orphans and children from low-income families. Your help provides food for these children at school.
