The Situation
In Pakistan currently, only 35 percent of the country’s total population lives in the cities. A large part of the community lives in remote rural regions of the country like Sindh. Many of them don’t have access to life necessities, such as healthcare facilities, education, drinking water, electricity and roads, as people living in the urban areas do.
What We’re Doing
To tackle water poverty in Pakistan, ISRA-UK is on the ground implementing water projects in the remote rural areas of Sindh.
Providing water is an excellent way to empower a poor community and a perfect way of offering a Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) for the donor.
The Results
